The fresh new Yards.2 slot was a tight, high-rate interface towards progressive motherboards customized mainly having NVMe SSDs and cordless (Wi-Fi + Bluetooth) cards.

AGP (Accelerated Image Port) is an additional kind of specialized PCI extension position utilized simply for video cards. During the normal motherboards, we can get a hold of to seven expansion ports for several motives. The fresh connectors out of PCI cards are called Boundary fittings which are familiar with link these to the fresh extension ports immediately after registered. PCI expansion harbors come in sizes, nevertheless very first style is nearly an identical.
